10 Reasons Why Gili Air Became Our Favourite Island

Untitleda.png
The closest island to Lombok, Gili Air is aptly named after the Indonesian word “air”  meaning “water”. It is the only Gili island to have natural underground fresh water walls. Gili Air is gem of a spot that allows you to sample the best of both worlds of the Gili islands- it has the relaxing charm of Gili Meno and a bit of the night life of Gili Trawangan. It is the most locally populated island with Read more

15 Photos to Inspire You to Visit Indonesia

untitled
“How many of the 17000 islands that Indonesia has will we manage to visit in 30 days?” This was the question that I asked myself when we chose Indonesia as the next destination after Thailand.
The 30 days visa which we got on arrival at the airport was not enough for us, so we chose to come back in Indonesia and explore it as it should be done. In the months that we spent there, we had the chance to explore Indonesia from Read more

How to Travel Bali on a Budget

bali-on-a-budget
If somebody would have asked me 2 years ago about Bali and about the cost of living there, I would probably answer that it is an expensive destination, suitable to the ones that want to spend their honey moon on an exotic island and opposed to the backpackers traveling on a budget. Something inside me kept telling me that it should also be possible in another way, a cheaper way. But the truth is that I would never imagined that I can easily live with only Read more

My best sunset at RLYC

I remember even now how I was walking last summer in the port of Monaco, admiring the yachts and I imagined how beautiful it would be to have the chance to sleep on one and float on the ocean. All these huge boats made me dream and they were sending me freedom and power feelings. I was imagining how great it would be to wake up with the sun in my front, its rays shining on the boat and me being surrounded by sea and dolphins.

In less than half a year, on the other side of the world, in Langkawi, our favourite island in Malaysia, we had the chance to spend some nights at RLYC – Royal Langkawi Yacht Club.  Since we arrived we were impressed by this place, by the yachts parked in the marina, by the swimming pool (we couldn’t wait to swim in it) and by theRead more

My favourite 6 beaches in Bali

The reason why I love Bali so much, is because it has to offer so many things: culture, delicious food, mountains, oceans, meditation, yoga, etc. Bali has something for everyone. Learning to surf, fishing, diving, snorkeling and stand-up paddle boarding – they’re all possible when you’re in Bali.
And the true reason why I crossed half of the world to reach Bali, were its beaches, of which wonderfulness I read about.

The most known and crowded beaches are Kuta and Semiyak. But today I want to talk about the less known beaches. Even if discovering them might be difficult sometimes,Read more
