Bombora Surf Camp, Uluwatu

If you are a backpacker and you are traveling to Uluwatu, Bali, one of the accommodation possibilities is Bombora Surf Camp, very well located at 10 minutes walking from Padang Padang beach and close to some restaurants with delicious food.

When we were there, Bombora Surf Camp was in renovation, there were a lot of persons who were taking care of the improvement of the place in order to satisfy the needs of their clients. Even though, the privacy of the guests was respected and we managed to sleep without being disturbed by the workers.

After we arrived, we made a quick check in and one of the team members took us to our room.

1 The accommodation

We spent two nights in a private room with swimming pool view. The room was spacious, it had a big and comfortable double bed, air conditioning, a safe, a big screen TV, a bathroom with hot shower and towels.

A big advantage os that Bombora Surf Camp provides complimentary bottled water. The room, the bed and the bathroom were clean, and the towels smelled very nice.

2.The swimming pool

In my opinion, a big advantage of Bombora Surf Camp is the swimming pool. So, if you are too lazy to go to the ocean, or if you just want to relax drinking the water from a coconut, the swimming pool is the ideal place to do so.

3.The team

Since we arrived, we were welcomed in a friendly way and the person from reception made us feel comfortable. They speak good English and if you need advises and recommendations, they will be more than happy to help you.

Guests can also arrange for surfing lessons and rent scooters from Bombora. The rental price is a very good one. We recommend you to rent one and discover the nearby beaches, like Impossible Beach and Dreamland Beach.

A little inconvenient was that the internet connexion in the room was quite poor and sometimes was not working at all. They promised to fix this issue.

All in all, we had a nice experience at Bombora Surf Camp and we hope to come back when we will be ready to take surf lessons.
